Old I-94 expiration date was January 3, 2010, and new I-94 started from October 18, 2010.
Ask your lawyer if you can get the I-94 corrected Nunc Pro Tunc.

They are looking for a few winners that will be used to pose questions to democratic presidential contenders. My son who is an International Affairs/Poli-Sci student wanted to do this and wanted our support.

Soft LUD means the date changed but no message content change..
Hard LUD means both date and message changed..

I don't think you understand how the income tax really works. There's no way that the company can take 33% of your MONTHLY paycheck for taxes. First of all, tax is calculated on the yearly income not the monthly one and second, tax calculated for each bracket on the amount of income that falls within that bracket. For example, say your friend makes 100k a year.
Assuming that he files as single with no dependents, that means:

$0 - $7,300 tax is 10% ---> he pays $730$
7,300 - 29,700 tax is 15% ---> he pays $3,360

You add all those up and the total amount in tax he owes is $22506 / year

If its been more than 180 days since your 140 was approved, can you not use AC21 to move to a new job (similar). even if the old company revokes the 140, you will get RFE/NOID and you can reply back in specified time.

I believe the 180 days starts from the day of 485 notice date and not 140 approval. I had confirmed this with my attorney (both my personal one and the companies )before making the shift and I had and RFE on my 485 in June 09 and nothing after that. I would assume that USCIS was happy with my response and the case might have been pre-adjudicated.
As per Ron, one cannot apply for H1B renewals based on revoked 140's. I wanted to see if anyone here has done it successfully. I will check with my attorney as well as my companies attorney.

My infopass went well, in fact, it was good that I took it, the IO told me that due to some error on their part, my file is no longer with them, it was sent back to the main office, she requested my file back from the other office & they will process once it comes back, which takes approx. 2-3 weeks.
Due to that we didn't get my Wife's GC in the court, the IJ told us that since the primary don't have GC, she can't get it. Now we will have to wait another 5 months for her GC.
Does anyone know if the court date can be moved forward if I get my GC ?

Thanks guys for all your replies & suggestions. Just to let you know, that I am paying for my whole GC process and I have been with this company since last 3 years. CIR must be defeated. It has no benefits for legal immigrants but only for illegal immigrants. Worksite enforcement must be increased to make it impossible for illegal immigrants to make a living in the USA. If not, USA will become like Mexico and USA will lose it's magnet for attracting the world's best!
The economic basis for CIR is stupid. Illegals can still pay taxes using a TIN number. Most illegals make minimum wage - some might not even fall under the preview of the US tax law.
CIR is only a way for hispanic politicians to gain ground in the US. 90% of US problems are because of illegal immigration. Imagine if we have 15 million illegals legal - now, they are no longer doing jobs tha Americans want to do but they feel (and are probably going get fast track) like they are American citizens and demand non-farm American jobs. The whole cycle is stupid.
