I wonder how many of these posts are trolls? I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 4.3.1. I also didn't have any problems with 4.3; battery life has been absolutely stellar and call performance actually improved in 4.3.1.
The timing of all these "bitching" posts just seems suspicious.

I'm using Garmin Mobile XT on my Windows mobile phone--it's really really nice.
Using maps on my iPad.... uhhhh.... not so nice :P

Thanks, Huntn. Good post. Here are my thoughts on your ideas:
There is a long term move to dismantle government social programs and who needs the truth when we can lie? You know we can't afford you social program and your school because we have these billion, thats B-I-L-L-I-O-N dollar bombers that need building.
This is all very simplistic, but here goes:
1. Reform Health care- one illness from bankruptcy is not acceptable for a developed country. Health care should have never been turned into a profit machine along the same lines that you don't want your police and firemen as for-profit enterprises. The larger the pool the smaller the costs.

Providing health services and goods has always been a for-profit enterprise. This is exactly what has lead to the amazing growth in medical technology in the past 100 years.
2. Cut programs before lowering taxes especially on the rich- you can't balance a budget if you have no income. If you must lower taxes, you must first cut the programs and deal with the popular unrest before cutting any taxes. This is exactly what the champion of the Republican Party did not do- Reagan, he cut taxes but not programs and this country ran the first substantial deficits since WWII.
I tend to agree. Cut programs until our expenses match our current 'revenues.' When the two are equal or are in the black, let's immediately pass an balanged-budget amendment so this problem never happens again.
3. Progressive Tax policies are a must- The rich are rich. Make them pay their fair share. They can afford it. Cutting their taxes to create jobs is mostly a conservative smoke screen to **** over average citizens.
For the record, they are paying their fair share. The top 50% of wage earners pay over 95% of the income tax. Your disgusting attack on all conservatives wanting to '****' over all citizens is just that... disgusting.
4. Stop allowing the Exportation of Jobs- If you want to keep a standard of living. Lowering the standard of living reduces income and tax revenues.
How? Trade embargo's? Certainly you understand that increasing taxation on the wealthy and corporations certainly won't help.
5. Enact policies that support a strong Middle Class- instead of wiping it out for the sake of the rich. A strong middle class powers the economy.
Lower taxes? Strong business climate with low unemployment? You seem to be contradicting yourself... what strong middle class policies are you specifically talking about?
6. Search High and Low for Corruption- No system will work if it's corrupt. Submitting thousands of fradulent Medicare claims is hurting us.
I agree. I would start with a MASSIVE simplification of the tax code, and virtual elimination of all government subsidies over the next 5-10 years.

I am thinking of buying an iPad2. I have been wanting one for a while but recently one of my children's teachers says that the iPad has a few apps that will help my 5 year old learn a few things better. So I am starting the search. Then today I spoke with my car audio guy and will be adding a processor to the system but the processor needs a windows laptop. He also said that a hack will enable to use the iPad to control the EQ and processor when I need to do adjustments.
So, what are the pro's and con's of jail breaking and how is it done?

But you hit on what some may see as an issue (maybe not for sun baked - gain not speaking for him).
There was a change that I noticed in your posting behavior (since you and I seemed to have hit the same threads) before and after the announcement of the possible addition of mini mods. The two are most likely unrelated; but it is the perception of users that counts to some degree.
Wait a few weeks and and all of this will be forgotten as you know. :)
I've been a member of these forums for a long time now, and I really like it here, I've learnt a lot and had a lot of fun too. But, to move to the next level and actually become part of the MR team it is obvious to any idiot (even me!) that some of my old habits have to die, and I do need to be able to account for my actions. So yes, my posting may have changed slightly, but without that change my name wouldn't be in this list now, and I wouldn't be able to wasteland that spam!! :D

I can see them giving it for free with the purchase of their hardware (like find my iPhone is free with the latest iteration of iOS devices) Apple after all is a hardware company.
Giving something that costs billions in servers and man hours for free to everyone doesn't make much sense to me.

Lame! I just had an Early_Unit_End on the p6900 I was 60% though. What a waste. Must have been a bad WU because this computer has been rock stable so far, not so much as a hiccup. And to add insult to injury the replacement WU is a 2684, the slowest bigadv there is.

Will the Snow Leopard Mac Mini Unlimited Server install disk/key work on other hardware? I have a Mac Mini Server and a Mac Pro and I wanted to know if in the future I wanted to migrate the server to the pro that the disk would install on the pro or if it is limited to the mini?

Hey, I'm not sure how to refer to this.. I think its a string format but thought I would come here to get some help.

You have to understand the law. What the seller did was intentionally try to deceived. Would a reasonable person be deceived by this listing, yes, therefore the judgement would go to the plaintiff if something like this ever went to court.

Doubtful since their warranty does not transfer to a second hand buyer. If I were to buy an iPod and then sell it on ebay a few weeks later the new owner would not be covered.
Apple dont check receipts, they check serial numbers. So long as its within the standard warranty period, or there is a flag to say that its covered by extended Apple Care, its covered. They dont care who you got it from.
Its also law. They are legally not allowed to refuse a manufacturers warranty based on which shop you bought it from (At least in the UK - it would be mind numbingly idiotic of any government to allow them to refuse it).
