What's with all the names changes?
iTools -> .Mac -> MobileMe -> iCloud
It's not the name that's hindering Apple's online efforts, it's the pricing, features and reliability.
I just hope they make iDisk as good or better as DropBox. iDisk in its current iteration is just awful.

I've been using it for a few months. While it does exactly what I need it to do, it does lag often and I also suspect that it crashes my iPhone. I end up having to reboot.

Not necessarily, it could be a loss leader. Apple's margin on products is generally 35%, however.I was just about to post about this likely being a loss leader. They're generating buzz and traffic in their stores. Their losses on the iPad are designed to turn profit on other sales.

I still want a CAM program for the mac. Currently there is none available on the mac platform. If apple computers are getting corporate attention then a CAM might be closer then I think among other things that could use better support.

Hi.
After upgrading my computer and my software (from Tiger to Leopard) a strange thing happened: my Airport signal (which was the strongest before) is at the middle. But the strangest thing is that, when I open Network Preferences, my internet connection is showed as a PCI Ethernet slot 3, port 3 connection (although it shows an Airport icon); for Airport, it says it's connected but it has no IP address! I have a PCI Ethernet card, but it's not connected.
I also intalled a PCI USB 2.0 card, but I don't think it has anything to do with that.
Any ideas?

They should buy one of those dedicated GPS/Maps companies like Garmin or TomTom and integrate their software into iOS5. Microsoft will be doing it soon with OVI and i suspect Google will be doing something similar with their new vector based version of Google MAPS.
It will be a shame for apple to be left out of this game.

Everyone here is quite happy with how Apple manages their personal data, but I bet a million dollars that not one of you has read the iTunes or App Store terms and conditions all the way through. We may one day find out that we all signed off on donating our DNA to Apple so that it could build a clone army of customers for the next million years.
