Someone on another forum suggested I try to transfer the files and folders in small batches. I tried and it mysteriously worked. I managed to transfer everything folder by folder; it was arduous but it did the job.
System Error -41 represents a memory insuffient error.
mFulErr Memory full (open) or file won't fit (load)
this will explain why you could copy in smaller batches. :)

Hey guys, so I've read the FAQ and what not and I really hate asking for help, but I'm stuck.
I'm using an i7 MBP on 10.6.4.
What do I need to download and run to get this set up? I'd like to use the graphical client (if possible). I like to have it run next to me at work and it's kinda interesting to watch.
So basically I downloaded this one. (attachment 1)
Then I downloaded this (attachment 2)
And that folder contains these (attachment 3)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm already using SETI@Home, Rosetta@Home, and Milky Way 3D mapping. I feel Folding@Home has a greater purpose than most of these (Rosetta is sorta the same).
THANKS!

I am not sure I understand. So you have to try to copy a file (Mac --> PC) to get access denied and that makes it possible for (PC --> Mac) to work when it didn't work before you got the access denied message. Also connecting works (Mac --> PC) fine without having to do anything elaborate.
Connecting (Mac --> PC) works for viewing files only? My setup worked fine when I made sure I was on the same wireless network, and opened up a port on the PC firewall, and started up Windows Sharing on the Mac side.
Also just a word of warning. People freak out when they see MAC or Apple (When refering to a Mac) instead of Mac. It might even be confusing for some networking folks since MAC means something different.

Depending on model, the new iMacs ship with Core i5-2400S (low-end 21"), i5-2500S (high-end 21" and low-end 27"), i5-2400 (high-end 27") CPU's in their standard configurations. BTO variants are available with Core i7-2600S (high-end 21"), and Core i7-2600 (high-end 27").
I actually didn't know the iMac used all low-power Sandy Bridge designs ("S") for their CPU's except for the high-end 27" model (both in its BTO variant and not).
All CPU's here were introduced in early 2011 and I believe at the same date as the 2500K. :)

I got my iPod Touch 3g from some lucky draw. Now the earphone has some problems like the volume control not working, the mic has problems and etc. Where should i seek help from? And i would like to ask, if i charge my iPod and play at the same time, does it harm the battery? THANK YOU :D

Probably not going to line up unless I have to. I'm a current Verizon user. I should be able to pre-order on the 3rd. Do you have to pick up the iPhone from the Apple store or what? How does that work? Maybe hit Total Wine on the if I do!

Alright, here's the question: I've got a file that's 900 bytes, but shows up as 4 kb due to the blocks in the file system (or something along those lines that I read a really long time ago). So while the actual file only takes up 900 bytes, it's a 4 kb file. Two of these together make 8 kb, and so on and so forth (I don't really need to tell you that). Well, I'm curious if when someone downloads that file (perhaps as a graphic in my CSS), are they downloading 900 bytes or are they downloading 4 kb?
If they're downloading 4 kb anyway, then if I can make that file a little bit bigger in size or quality that'd make sense, since it won't cost me or the user anything. If someone knows what's going on here, I'd really be grateful for an explanation. Thanks in advance!

well...I accept multiple forms of payment ;)
But yes its such an incredible machine. It can do so much...
In many cases I prefer it over G5 tower.
It's cheaper to upgrade!...with like 80 bucks you can max it out at 2 gigs of ram!

This is probably a very basic question...
I have a Dell desktop pc that is directly connected to a Time Capsule router. Can a 2nd computer in my network (a Mac laptop that is connecting wirelessly) - can that user in any way access my internet browsing history? Does the Time Capsule store that info? (FYI - The 2nd computer is the admin of the Time Capsule.)
Thanks for any info! :)

You could simply start all the address with a slash which sets it at the root directory. Instead of href="index.html" use href="/index.html" and no matter which directory you are in at the time it will bring you to the same address.
I'd agree with this. Simple and will work for all cases.

How does it run snow leopard? Is it fairly smooth and usable? I'm just concerned about CPU. I'll be upgrading the HDD's, Ram and GPU.
It runs as well as it did the day I got it. And as support is added to make better use of the multi cores it should last for quite some time.

Well in iMovie it would be pretty simple, import your song and pictures of choice and just click and drag the pictures and song into your timeline and go from there. I'm not sure how exactly you plan on doing it to the beat without a more professional editing software- somewhere along the lines of Final Cut Pro (or Express).

I'd say get it refurbished or don't bother, $200 is way to much for that tech now in my opinion. I think you can find other premium routers for much less.
I think it's in the Apple refurbished store at the moment, but if not I think Best Buy sells it online for $10 cheaper refurbished ($119).
The only reason to wait would be if there were some new wireless protocol coming out, but you'd hear all about it long before it made it into Apple's product line. 5 Ghz n seems to be the standard for the foreseeable future, so no danger in it being outdated.
