Nonetheless, the way HR policies work anymore, people won't have their paychecks "docked" for cash shortages. Loss Prevention will investigate the cash shortage, the kid will most likely be exonerated of theft and given a "first and final warning." BB is a big company and they won't typically fire someone for a first offense...although the kids day certainly would have been ruined with the stress of the investigation and implied allegations.
So while I personally believe the OP just did this to get a rise, the amount of absolute ignorance and naivete of the remaining posters here is laughable. You people really need to put away your pitchforks and torches and get some common sense.
Bull. I had a girlfriend in high school get fired from OfficeMax for being $100 off where she had been working for almost a year.
News for you. Your girlfriend didn't get fired for that ONE instance. You just were totally biased about the facts....inclusive of the ones she didn't give you about all the other things she had done wrong prior that made this the proverbial straw on the camels back.
Well, that has to be the funniest thing I ever heard.
I keep hammering the same point here, but the Volt would see a quite significant fuel economy boost by switching to a diesel engine to charge the batteries and run the motors. Sort it out, US car companies...it's not like we don't sell diesel here.
I find this situation so frustrating. When I went to Europe this summer, I felt like an idiot after trying to put a gasoline into my rental car. I didn't even know it was a diesel. The smell and clunking sounds that we used to associate with diesels are long gone with the modern diesel engines.
I'm looking to replace at least one of our cars (or maybe both) and I like Nissan Murano. Here in the US it only comes with a gasoline engine and gets about 19 mpg. In Europe it is also available with a diesel engine and gets 35 mpg.
Anyway, I would normally not consider purchasing a GM vehicle, but the Volt looks really good.
The counter is crap anyway. It goes from -1 to +1 without a 0. And it seems completely random.
My guess is that others have voted while you had already loaded the page, and then when you voted, it updated all votes.
I bet he'll be able to control everything via an app on his iPhone.
The house itself doesn't need to be HUGE. He can still apply a lot of technology into the house making it worth millions!
I don't think so -- yes it will have updated technologies, probably for energy efficiency. Jobs is not Bill Gates. He went for simple and clean and sometimes technology can muddle that goal.
it even makes angry bird sounds!!!
want want want want arrrrrrgggghhhhh!!! :d
Never heard of the HTC Flyer, I'll look into it. The problem with most pressure sensitive devices is that the pressure sensors start failing after a while.
It's a bit deeper then that though, he says
******* the police that's how we treat 'em
we buy our way out of jail, but we can't buy freedom
He's not just saying F the police just because they're the police.
But it's cool, because the important thing is that the OP got a great deal on his iPad!
Beware OP, because Karma's a b!tch.
You dont get second chances when your register is missing 300
but it got too hot, and i had to turn it down to 3.98 ghz. not quite 4. hopefully it'll stay at that though
i prefer the number 9 to be honest :p 9ghz! phoar!
what temps are they running at? had you considered water cooling?
"Run Aperture on any Intel-based Mac. Any desktop, including Mac mini, iMac, and Mac Pro. Or any notebook, including MacBook and MacBook Pro.
Technically my POWERMAC G4 can run iMovie, Keynote, and other mac software. RUNNING and FUNCTIONING (at a reasonable speed) are two totally different things. iPhoto takes a day to get going. I can't imagine aperture.
Anyway... I don't want to ruin anybody's happy day, but the reality is, if you don't have the latest and greatest Apple Machine, the current software runs pretty slow.
Go to the Apple store (yes, this means some of you will have to leave your apartment) and try running this software on a mac mini. Don't get depressed when it takes your entire lunch break to start the software. Forget about moving stacks of photos around and editing. As I mentioned... I had problems with the G5 QUAD and the original aperture at my Apple Store in Seattle. THEN AGAIN... they haven't updated half the things in the store. SLOPPY SLOPPY SLOPPY.
Just a thought.

Here's the full link from the Transporter 2 bit.
Clicking that link calls up a whitepage saying Itunes store being updated ( from the US)

Priceless, that is the word...:D
Goes on. Keep denying pal. Let us know how hurt you are. Pundits out there all accepted what iPhone did to the industry. Only bitter person like you can not accept that.
You are one of those idiots crawling at Engadget who saw Macworld 2007 keynote and think only one thing.. "touch screen keyboard? Yuck!!!", I guess. LOLYes, I'm an idiot for using my iPad's touch screen. You're so perceptive! What are you, 12 years old?
Kanye West's lyriks where anapropriate for the even. I am sure Steve or any one else in Apple has heard his liriks, just how did they allowed for that performace. The croud in that event didn't care for his performance and for sure wasn't in their taste, as I havn't see a jurnalists go "Yo, Yo, wut up dude?"
ahh what is going on at Apple now days?!
